On the morning of March 16, the Office of the National Election Council reported that the country had 76,436,561 registered voters. Of these, 76,188,970 had voted, an increase of 0.3% compared to the figure recorded at 10:00 pm the previous evening, after localities updated their reports.

Four localities recorded the highest voter turnout, reaching 99.99%, including Lao Cai Province, Hue, Tuyen Quang Province and Vinh Long Province. All 34 provinces and centrally run cities nationwide reported voter turnout exceeding 99%.

Following the close of voting, ballot counting was conducted in accordance with regulations. Votes were sorted and counted to determine the total number of ballots issued, collected, valid and invalid. The results at each polling station were publicly posted for voters to monitor, ensuring transparency.

Election committees then consolidated results from polling stations within each constituency and prepared official records to determine elected candidates.

Final results for National Assembly deputies will be announced by the National Election Council after verification of eligibility, while results for People’s Council deputies will be released by local election authorities.
