Hanoi, November 12 (VNA) – A worldwide conference of Vietnamese entrepreneurs opened in Moscow on November 11, discussing investment and opportunities during the global economic recovery period.

The event saw over 300 Vietnamese entrepreneurs around the world, including about 200 businesspersons from Vietnam.

The conference was part a series of events in Russia in response to the signing of the free trade agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the Eurasia Economic Union (EEU).

Along with the high-quality Vietnamese goods fair-exhibition and the Vietnam-Russia business forum, the conference was expected to create a platform for Vietnamese entrepreneurs around the world to share their experiences, seek partners and promote Vietnamese products to markets in Russia and other countries.

Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son affirmed that the embassy will create all possible conditions to connect Vietnamese entrepreneurs around the world and promote Vietnamese brand names in Russia and other countries.

The event was jointly held by the State Committee of Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association and Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
