The hotel - Dalat Discovery Home - was built on a 1,200m2 hill in the suburbs of Da Lat. It consists of 10 self-contained rooms which have a delicate and comfortable design. Since it began operations in early 2016, the hotel has attracted a large number of tourists.
The hotel is run by Ngo Anh Tuan who is an architect and a tourist guide in a local tourism company. Tuan said that when taking tourists to visit Da Lat, he saw the increasing demand of tourists, especially the young who love expedition tours, to experience intriguing tourism services. He spent years searching on the internet to learn more about unique hotels in countries around the world before constructing his own hotel called Dalat Discovery Home.
Each room, for 2 - 3 people, was designed in the shape of a reinforced concrete culvert and well-equipped. It has a window to look down at the town and a smart bed which can be folded or spread flexibly, a toilet and a kitchen. Wireless Internet is available and free of charge. Walls are soundproofed to give tourists a quiet space. The outside of the rooms is decorated with patterns of flowers and leaves of eye-catching colours and unique miniatures. In front of the construction is a lawn with two air bubble houses where tourists can relax and discover the romantic beauty of Da Lat at night.

In front of each room is a spacious lawn where tourists can relax and discover the romantic beauty of Da Lat at night.  Each room is not big but brings about a cozy feeling.  The hotel provides tourists with an interesting experience.  Space outside the rooms was set up very romantic.  Staying in a room in the shape of a reinforced concrete culvert leaves a strong impression on tourists. Hoai An, a tourist from the city of Can Tho, Southern Vietnam and her 8 friends selected the hotel for their two-night stay, said, “It gives warm feelings when staying in such a tube room”. During their stay, they cooked or asked for the service of organising outdoor parties. At night, An and her friends went to a campfire on the hill and enjoyed the delicious dishes of Da Lat.
