Vietnam wins four golds at world bodybuilding champs

Hanoi, October 9 (VNA) - Vietnam have won four gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

The gold medals were won by Dinh Thi Kim Loan in the women’s 55kg, Tran Thi Cam Tu in the women’s fitness at 1.60 cm, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao in the women’s fitness at 1.65 cm, and Pham Van Mach in the men’s 55kg bodybuilding. 

Nguyen Bich Tram brought home a silver medal in the women’s over 55kg and the another silver medal went to Khanh Khuong in the men’s 55kg bodybuilding. 

Hoang Duy Phuc and Tran Thi Thuy Linh won bronze medals in the men’s 65kg and women’s 55kg, respectively. 

The tournament, which ends today, is held for the first time in Mongolia. The ninth edition of the event has lured about 500 athletes from more than 60 countries in 39 categories.
