Diligent orange bees

Electricians of the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) are called “orange bees” who are diligently working around the clock to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for 21 southern provinces and cities from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau.
The summer’s parching heat in the southern central region and the serious floods during the floating water season in the Mekong delta are only a few among the difficulties challenging electrical workers of EVNSPC.

The photo contest "Pride of the Southern Power Corporation: 45 years of construction and development" attracted 154 contestants with 521 works, including 45 photo series and 654 single photos. The photos feature the life and work of electricians and staff of EVNSPC and the development of the southern part of the country through power projects.

Despite their tough working conditions, EVNSPC electricians have completed all their tasks, from regular maintenance and minor repairs to overhauls. Day or night, EVNSPC workers are ready to go to work to ensure the uninterrupted power supply in the southern region.

Regarded as the “lighters of trust”, EVNSPC workers are present at every corner in the southern part of the country to bring light to people from urban to rural, remote and island areas.
