Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un has departed by train for the second summit with US President Donald Trump in Hanoi next week, reported the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

Accordingly, the train carrying the DPRK leader left Pyongyang on February 23 afternoon.

The Chairman is accompanied by senior DPRK officials, including his younger sister Kim Yo-jong and Vice Chairman of the WKP Central Committee Kim Yong-chol.

The KCNA did not mention whether or not First Lady of the DPRK Ri Sol-ju is included in the entourage.

The news agency also reported that the DPRK leader will pay an official friendship visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Nguyen Phu Trong.
