Accordingly, the two sides will partner up to organise training courses on motorcycle and car driving for officers and soldiers of the department, as well as municipal and provincial police, along with courses to popularise the Law on Road Traffic.
They will also exchange documents on driver training, study issues regarding traffic safety, and coordinate with each other in the communication work.
General Director of Honda Vietnam Toshio Kuwahara said that over the past eight years, his company has teamed up with the department to implement training courses for over 2,600 officers and soldiers, and carried out multiple communication activities to raise public awareness of traffic safety.
Lieut. Gen. Vu Do Anh Dung, head of the department, said apart from training courses for officers and soldiers, Honda Vietnam organised traffic safety programmes for more than 9.9 million students and youths in 2016 and 2017.
Honda Vietnam has presented nearly 2 million helmets to first graders nationwide during the 2018-2019 academic year.
