A new bus route runs from Tan Son Nhat to Vung Tau

A new bus route from HCM City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport to the Vung Tau Bus Terminal on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street in Vung Tau City was officially opened on January 25.

The 105km long bus route will operate from midnight to 11:30pm.

Passengers who travel half of the route will pay VND80,000 (US$3.5), while more than half of the route will cost VND160,000 ($7).

The bus will travel on HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway.

The HCM City’s People’s Committee has directed its Police Department and inspectors of the Department of Transport to work with Vung Tau City on inspection and supervision activities.

In addition, the People’s Committee also told units to work with the Southern Airport Authority and Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport to strictly handle illegal buses to ensure order and safety in the airport area.

From the airport, the bus route will include Truong Son, Tran Quoc Hoan, Hoang Van Thu, Nguyen Van Troi, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Le Duan, Ton Duc Thang and Nguyen Huu Canh streets, Ha Noi Highway, Mai Chi Tho Street, Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway, National Highway No 51, and to Binh Gia, Thong Nhat Lê Hồng Phong, and Nam Ki Khoi Nghia Street in Vung Tau.
