At the 22nd meeting of Vietnamese record breakers in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnamese Record Book Centre announced the reorganization of a total of 33 new Vietnamese records and 10 Asian records.
10 new Vietnamese records recognized as Asian records by the Asia Book of Records include Bui Ngoc Thinh, the blind boy in Khanh Hoa Province who can play seven musical instruments; the biggest statue of Jesus Christ in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province; the biggest bronze pagoda on a mountain top - Dong Pagoda on Yen Tu Mountain, Quang Ninh Province; the largest prison on an island - Con Dao Prison Relic Site; the longest tunnel - Cu Chi Tunnel; the biggest Bodhisattva of Mercy Statue made from flowers at the Linh Phuoc Pagoda in Da Lat; the longest corridor with 500 La Han (Buddha) statues and the biggest bronze gold-inlaid statue of Sakyamuni in Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh Province; the longest dry cave – Thien Duong Cave in Quang Binh Province; and the largest and most unique poetry book in Asia – “Thi Van Yen Tu".

At the event, viewers had a chance to enjoy impressive performances by record breakers. General Director of the Asian Book of Records, Biswaroop Roy Chowdhuyry, an Indian who set three world’s records, also surprised the audience with his record performance of reciting exactly a line of nearly 60 numbers.
Bui Ngoc Thich, a blind boy, can play seven musical instruments.
The circus act “the strength of hands” by brothers Giang Quoc Co and Giang Quoc Nghiep which won the largest international prizes is recognized as a new Vietnamese record.
Vietnamese record breaker Nguyen Cong Bang performs a technique on throwing needles through glass at the meeting.
MC Thanh Bach and the twin singers, Thanh Hang and Thanh Ha, who are the shortest people in Vietnam.
Mai Dinh Toi plays the flute with his nose at the meet.
At the meeting, Ly Hung is recognized as the actor playing the largest number of leading roles in Vietnam.

33 Vietnamese records were identified at the event, such as Ly Hung - the actor playing the largest number of leading roles in Vietnamese films; Nguyen Van Chieu – VOVINAM martial arts master having trained the largest number of foreign disciples; writer Dang Vuong Hung – the first person collecting and mobilizing the publication of the book sets “Letters and diaries on Vietnam wars”.
