Reviving Memories of Hanoi’s 36 streets in Heart of Thang Long Heritage Space

The exhibition “Elegance of the Capital - Hanoi’s 36 Streets” takes place from September 12 to 19, 2026, at the Temple of Literature – Imperial Academy as part of the second Thang Long – Hanoi Festival 2026. 

The event aims to revive memories of the city and affirm the vitality of heritage in contemporary life. Inspired by the stories of traditional craft streets and handicraft practices, the exhibition helps promote the historical site as a creative cultural space connecting art with tourism and the cultural industries.

Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2026 Kicks Off

The second Thang Long-Hanoi Festival kicked off at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi on September 11, bringing together a wide range of cultural activities celebrating the capital’s rich heritage. Held by the Hanoi People’s Committee under the theme “Heritage Flow,” the festival highlights Hanoi’s cultural identity while promoting its heritage and creative industries.
