“Colors of Five Continents” Bring Cultural Vibrancy to Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake

The “Colors of Five Continents” street festival brought together domestic and international art troupes, artists, artisans, local residents and visitors around Hoan Kiem Lake on October 3 evening as part of the second Hanoi World Cultural Festival 2026. 
A highlight is a parade featuring more than 1,000 people in Vietnamese ao dai and traditional costumes from participating countries. The colourful procession created a vivid cultural tableau in the heart of the capital. Photo: VNA

Bui Xuan Phai - For the Love of Hanoi Awards 2026 Honors Poet Bang Viet

The Grand Prize of the 19th Bui Xuan Phai - For the Love of Hanoi Awards was presented to poet Bang Viet at a ceremony held at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature) in Hanoi on October 2. The annual award is organised by the Vietnam News Agency’s The Thao & Van Hoa (Culture & Sports) newspaper.
