Established in 1976 and equitised in 2004,  PINACO has strongly developed with two main product types – dry cell batteries and storage batteries. The company’s dry cell batteries brand named Con O (Eagle) have been popularly used in household applications, such as flashlights, watches, rechargeable lamps, electronics and children’s toys, and  highly appreciated by consumers. These products are manufactured by production chains imported from Germany, RoK and China with the paper-lined technology that helps increase competitiveness, ensure high capacity, safety, non-leakage and a reasonable price.

So far, the company has expanded a distribution system nationwide with more than 180 distributors, agents and service centres, creating favourable conditions for customers to buy the company’s products and receive after-sales services according to the company’s “Nationwide Warranty” policy –  PINACO’s products are warranted by authorised distributors regardless of where they were bought.

Besides prestigious dry cell batteries, PINACO has also carved a firm niche in the domestic market with its Pinaco, Dong Nai, JP, PAC and Sakura storage batteries which haves prominent advantages in terms of capacity and longevity and meets international standards (DIN 43539 of Germany and JIS D5301-D5302 of Japan). It offers a wide range of batteries, such as dry-charged batteries, maintenance free (MF) batteries, complete maintenance free (CMF) batteries and valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries.

With high quality products, the company has become an important chain in automobile and motorbike manufacturing. It marked a milestone in the development of the company in 2003 when it officially became the storage battery supplier for Ford Mondeo cars. Since then, the company’s products have been selected by automobile makers, such as Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, Mazda, Suzuki, Kia, Thaco, Samco, Hyundai, and motorbike agents, such as Honda Vietnam, Piaggio Vietnam and Yamaha Vietnam.

Based on the criteria of using high technology, advanced equipment, good material resources and a quality management system meeting international standards, PINACO always pledges to provide its customers with the highest quality products and services, being worthy of the title “Vietnam’s leading dry cell and storage battery manufacturer” and plans to reach the market in Southeast Asia.

During the manufacturing process, PINACO is aware of strictly complying policies and regulations on environment protection,  using  modern waste treatment systems and applying an environment management system ISO 14001:2004 to maintain a clean and clear environment and protect the health of labourers and the community.

With its achievements, PINACO ranked in the list of 63 businesses which have been awarded the  “Vietnam Value” title of the National Trademark 2014-2015 in December 2015. It is the only program carried out by the Vietnamese Government to promote the country’s image through brands of products and services.

In 2014, the company was awarded Ford Q1 certification from Ford Motors Group – the highest award and a global recognition for suppliers who have achieved a high level of performance in quality, production and management capacity and customers satisfaction.

According to Tran Thanh Van, General Director of PINACO, with this certification, PINACO has become one of the prioritised suppliers of  Ford Motors. Therefore, it can participate in the global supply chain of Ford Motors, being competent with the best spare parts  suppliers in the world  which gives it an opportunity to participate in the world’s market.
