GC Food - Vietnam’s Largest Aloe Vera Producer

In a globally tumultuous environment, GC Food remains steadfast as Vietnam’s largest aloe vera producer, supplying both domestic and international markets. with a commitment to clean agriculture, meticulous care at every stage, and professionalism in the production process, GC Food is continuously evolving to lead the aloe vera and other key agricultural markets.

GC Food decided to establish an aloe vera production plant in Ninh Thuan, the country’s aloe vera capital, in 2015. Situated in the Thanh Hai Industrial Zone (Ninh Thuan), the two-hectare facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology meeting international standards. The integration of IQF technology in the production process has positioned GC Food as a leader in this sector within Vietnam and Southeast Asia, elevating the value of aloe vera.

Currently, GC Food operates four subsidiaries, with offices in Binh Thanh District (Ho Chi Minh City) and plants in Ninh Thuan and Dong Nai. The Ninh Thuan plant, the most modern and largest aloe vera processing facility in Vietnam, processes about 35,000tons of aloe vera annually, resulting in approximately 15,000tons of finished products.

The enterprise has expanded its reach to over 20 international markets, including Japan, South Korea, several European countries, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, maintaining strong competitiveness in these regions. Domestically, GC Food’s aloe vera products are favored by major yogurt, beverage manufacturers, restaurant chains, and cafes.

From 2022 to 2024, the complex and unpredictable global situation has prompted GC Food to closely monitor developments and seek adaptive solutions. Discussing the challenges, Nguyen Van Thu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated: “Currently, our Middle Eastern clients are slowing down their orders. Additionally, the Russia-Ukraine conflict has reduced consumer markets, leading to slower than expected export growth for GC Food”.



In terms of GC Food’s future strategy, Thu said: “To expand our product sales, we are seeking new markets. We are currently expanding into Southeast Asia, with exports to Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Moving forward, we will focus on East Asia, including China. GC Food participated in the SIAL Shanghai 2024 exhibition to attract new customers in China and received positive feedback”.

GC Food aims to achieve a revenue target of 573 billion dong (23 million US dollars) in 2024, with an annual compound growth rate of over 30% in the next five years.
