According to the travel website, Ho Chi Minh City came in third place thanks to its range of cheap dishes that have an average cost of just £1.77 per dish. The southern metropolis also has high a quantity of street food vendors.
Some of the most popular foods found in the city include pho, banh mi, known as a Vietnamese baguette in Western countries, and goi cuon, a type of fresh spring roll.
The index ranks cities based on four factors: number of vendors; affordability; number of street food experiences or tours; and sanitation.
