Vietnam’s images highlighted at Hungary exhibition

A photo exhibition highlighting the beauty of Vietnamese landscapes, people and cultural identity is taking place in Budapest.

Opened on March 11 and co-organised by the Hungary – Vietnam Friendship Association (HVFA) and the Vietnamese Embassy, the event is part of the activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Tien Thuc expressed his delight at the growing Vietnam-Hungary ties, saying that the embassy will organise more activities to introduce Vietnamese culture, food and arts to Hungarian friends.

He thanked members of the HVFA and the Vietnamese community in the host country for their contributions to popularising Vietnam’s culture to local people.

For his part, Vice Chairman of the HVFA Varaljai Marton reviewed the milestones of their bilateral relations and highlighted Vietnam’s socio-economic development achievements.

The exhibition will run until April 12./.
