Vietnamese children join FIFA football festival in Moscow

A delegation of four Vietnamese children and its head arrived in Moscow, Russia, on June 26 to attend the “Football for Hope” festival – the official event of the FIFA World Cup 2018 to honour the power of football in making positive changes in society.

The festival will run from June 27 to July 3, featuring cultural exchanges, football training and sightseeing tours.

The trip was carried out by the “Football For All in Vietnam” project. The four Vietnamese children, including two boys and two girls, were chosen from the Xuan Phu welfare centre for disadvantaged children and orphans.

Forty-eight participating delegations will join collective activities, including touring Moscow city and watching World Cup football matches in the round of eight in Luzhniki stadium.
