Vietnam to compete in Thailand’s King’s Cup

Vietnam’s national football team will compete at the 2019 King’s Cup international tournament in Thailand in June.

The event is scheduled to take place from June 5 to 8 with the participation of Vietnam, China, India and hosts Thailand, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

It will serve as a warm-up for coach Park Hang-seo’s players ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers this September. Vietnam finished runners-up at the King’s Cup in 2006 after losing 3-1 to Thailand in the final.
