Vietnam-Rok art exhibition promotes friendship

As many as 56 modern artworks of Vietnamese artists and those from the Republic of Korea (RoK) are on display at a Vietnam-RoK arts exhibition that opened in Hanoi on February 6.

Themed “Great moments of Asia”, the exhibition is organised by the Hanoi Department of Culture, the Hanoi Arts Association and the Fun:fun arts association of the RoK.

Artworks exhibited at the event feature natural landscapes, daily life, modern life and cultural identities of the two nations.

Chairwoman of the Hanoi Arts Association Pham Kim Binh said Vietnam and the RoK have enjoyed a close friendship in recent years, especially in culture and art exchange.

Many art exchange exhibitions were organised in Hanoi, Seoul and Busan, contributing to further promoting the friendship.

The “Great moments of Asia” exhibition helps Vietnamese viewers learn about both countries, thus enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries’ people.
