Vietnam Airlines serves Tay Ninh’s products on its flights

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will serve agricultural products of Tay Ninh and promote the southern province’s images on its flights.

Under a cooperation deal signed recently with the provincial People’s Committee, Vietnam Airlines will purchase and serve suitable agricultural and other products that are produced by using high technology and meet international standards of Tay Ninh on its flights.

The carrier will also popularise the province through its Heritage magazine and promotional videos on its flights. It will assist Tay Ninh to promote local tourism at Vietnam Airlines’ offices and pavilions at domestic and international fairs.

Additionally, the two sides will work together to build tour packages to famous destinations of Tay Ninh and organise tourism, cultural and sports programmes in the province.

Vietnam Airlines will also sponsor some national and international cultural and tourism events in Tay Ninh province from 2019 to 2024.

Meanwhile, the Tay Ninh People’s Committee will introduce capable suppliers of agricultural and other products to Vietnam Airlines and prioritise using its services.

Director General of Vietnam Airlines Duong Tri Thanh said over the past years, his firm has continually enhanced cooperation with provinces and cities to help with tourism and trade promotion and contribute to the country’s economic development.

Right in April, the carrier is offering its passengers fruit specialties that are now in season in Tay Ninh province such as honeydew melon and pear shaped melon.

Earlier, other Vietnamese fruits were also served on Vietnam Airlines’ flights like Bac Giang lychees, Hung Yen longans and Hoa Loc mangoes.
