Twenty-one more COVID-19 patients recover

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has announced that 21 more patients were given the all-clear on April 17 after testing negative for the coronavirus at least twice.

Seventeen of these were treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, one received treatment at Nho Quan district’s general hospital in the northern province of Ninh Binh, and the remaining three were declared to have fully recovered by the Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases Hospital in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh.

All are Vietnamese nationals and will continue to be quarantined for the next 14 days and have their health regularly monitored.

To date, 198 out of 268 infections in Vietnam have been treated successfully, and most patients receiving ongoing treatment are in a stable condition./.
