VN win second match at Junior Davis Cup

Vietnamese players continued their good performance at the ongoing Junior Davis Cup pre-qualification, Asia-Oceania zone, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

They defeated Saudi Arabia 3-0 on March 13.

Tran Quang Truong won 6-0, 6-3 against Qassem Mohammed Alobaidan before Tu Le Khanh Duy beat Abdullah Tawfeeq Albdullah 6-1, 6-0 in only 40 minutes.

Truong and teammate Tat Thai Nguyen trounced Alobaidan and Abdulaziz Abdulla Alrajeh 6-2, 6-1 in the doubles match.

In the first match on March 12, Vietnam won 3-0 against Tajikistan.

On March 15, Vietnam will play the hosts. The winner will top group D.

Sri Lanka on March 13 defeated Tajikistan 3-0.
