Vietnamese citizens to enjoy visa–free travel to Uzbekistan

Hanoi, December 27 (VNA) – Vietnamese citizens will enjoy visa-free travel to Uzbekistan from April 1, 2017, said the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).

According to the VNAT, the move benefits Vietnamese citizens of over 55 years old for stays of up to 30 days. Entrance fee to central Asian country is 50 USD.

So far, Vietnamese citizens can travel to 51 countries and territories without visa.

Implemented from October 6 to November 30, 2025, the campaign’s achievements were also reflected in its impressive outreach. On social media platforms, “Not Alone” generated more than 1.5 billion views and reached over 40 million people, with the participation of more than 1,000 key opinion leaders. Millions of creative contents using hashtags such as #khongmotminh and #NiemTinSo attracted strong community engagement.
