Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien of Vietnam has made history as she became the first Vietnamese woman crowned Miss Grand International.
The 23-year-old beauty outclassed 59 contestants from all over the world, including those from powerhouses like Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Brazil and South Africa, at the pageant’s grand finale held in Bangkok on December 4 evening.
Placed in the Top 10, Tien impressed the jury with her message about war and violence, fluently presented in English.
She won the Best in Swimsuit voted by fans on social media./.
