The squad came third in the men's team 10m air pistol event with 1,729 points. China took gold medal with 1,748 points, while the Republic of Korea (RoK) received silver with 1,744 points.
Earlier, Vietnam won a bronze in the 10m air rifle women's junior event.
In the men's individual 10m air pistol, Hoang Xuan Vinh ranked fourth with 158.1 points. The gold medal went to the RoK's Jin Jongoh who was followed by China's Pang Wei and Pu Qifeng.
Thirteen Vietnamese marksmen are taking part in the competition which will run until November 11.
