Vietnam literature to be translated into Thai, taught in schools

HCM City, December 13 (VNA) - A talk on Vietnamese and Thai literature will be held at HCM City’s Social Sciences and Humanities University on December 15.

Vietnamese writer Nguyen Nhat Anh and Prof Montira Rato from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok will host the show.

They will focus on translating Vietnamese literature into Thai and teaching them in Thai schools.

An international workshop on building strategic relationships will be held at the university the next day.

Prof Rato is a lecturer from Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. She has studied Vietnamese literature and has translated various pieces by Vietnamese writers including Cho Toi Xin Mot Ve Di Tuoi Tho (Give me a Ticket to Childhood) by Nguyen Nhat Anh.
