Top leader receives newly-accredited ambassadors

Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong received in Hanoi on February 27 newly-accredited ambassadors who came to present their credentials.

They were Ambassador of Cambodia Chay Navuth, Ambassador of Switzerland Ivo Sieber, Ambassador of Venezuela Tatiana Josefina Pugh Moreno, Ambassador of Greece Georgios Stilianopoulous, Ambassador of Luxembourg Jean Paul Senninger, Ambassador of Paraguay Raul Alberto Florentin Antola, and Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mahmoud Daiffallah Al-Hamoud.

The leader attributed Vietnam’s recent important successes to invaluable support by countries, including those represented by the ambassadors.

He expressed his belief that the envoys will fulfill their assigned tasks during the tenure, serving as an important bridge to foster traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and their countries.

Vietnam always offers all possible support to ambassadors to accomplish their tasks, he said, hoping that ties between Vietnam and countries represented by them will further grow./
