Teachers with mission during war

During the war against America decades ago, South Vietnam was often abbreviated as letter “B”. Therefore, the missions to the southern front were simply called “heading to “B”. Vietnamese people may be familiar with stories about soldiers “heading to B”. However, there were also unarmed people with the same mission - teachers. Though the war no longer blights Vietnam, memories of “heading to B” are still imprinted in these teachers’ minds.

There were nearly 3,000 teachers that took this mission during the resistance war against America. 1,000 teachers laid down their lives. Their efforts and sacrifice will never be forgotten.-VNA/VNP
