The TV movie series “TASS is authorised to declare ...” was once well-known in Vietnam. And today, TASS is authorised to declare: “The cooperation relationship accumulated over the past decades between the two news agencies contributes to promoting the friendship between Vietnam and Russia.” TASS Director General Sergey Vladimirovich Mikhaylov made the statement in his congratulatory message to VNA on the occasion of its 75th founding anniversary (September 15, 1945 - September 15, 2020). He affirmed that TASS and VNA will continue supporting each other in fulfilling the missions of national news agencies in each country.
Being long-standing traditional friends who remain close in various spheres of co-operation, relations between TASS and VNA have contributed to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.
