President appoints new judges, deputy chief judges of supreme court

Hanoi, June 21 (VNA) – President Tran Dai Quang on June 21 handed over appointment decisions to new deputy chief judges and judges of the Supreme People’s Court. 

Under the decisions, Nguyen Tri Tue, a judge of the Supreme People’s Court, is promoted to deputy chief judge of the court, while Le Hong Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the TienGiang province, will work as a judge at the Supreme People’s Court and take the position of the deputy chief judge of the court. 

Nguyen Van Tien, deputy chief judge of the Hanoi People’s Court, will take office as a judge of the Supreme People’s Court. 

The State President, who is also head of the Central Committee for Judicial Reform, congratulated the newly-accredited judges, while assigning them new tasks. 

He urged them to restlessly improve their professional ethics and skills, while overcoming economic temptation and keep themselves immune against inducements in all circumstances.
