Hanoi, September 29 (VNA) – A photograph exhibition featuring Hanoi’s relic sites during the resistance war against French colonists during 1946-1954 was recently opened at House 48 in Hang Ngang Street, Hanoi.

The event is part of activities to celebrate the 60 th anniversary of Liberation Day of Hanoi (October 10).

It honors Hanoians’ undaunted will and courage in the nine-year-long resistance war against the French colonists, said Truong Minh Tien, Vice Director of Hanoi’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism.

Sixty significant historical revolutionary sites in Hanoi were in the spotlight, including vestiges of the French colonists’ crimes, revolutionary bases and relic sites witnessing important battles of Hanoians.
