More congratulations to new President

Leaders of the Republic of Korea (RoK), Italy, Algeria, Morocco, Belarus and Mozambique, as well as those of foreign political parties have sent their congratulations to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong on his recent election as State President.

In his congratulation, President of the RoK Moon Jae-in spoke highly of the new President’s contributions to the development of bilateral strategic cooperative partnership, and said he believed that Vietnam will further thrive under the leadership of Nguyen Phu Trong.

For his part, Italian President Sergio Mattarella also expressed his belief that the Vietnam – Italy ties will develop in bilateral aspects, within the Vietnam – EU framework as well as at multilateral forums.

Algerian President Adbelaziz Bouteflika, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, King of Morocco Mohamed VI, President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi also congratulated the new Vietnamese leader.

Other congratulations were from leaders of political parties of Japan, Panama, Guinea Bissau, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Portugal and Czech Republic; as well as ambassadors of Cuba, Japan, Argentina, Panama and Venezuela in Vietnam.
