Indian festival of colours to be held in HN

Hanoi, March 15 (VNA) -The annual Hindu festival of colours will be organised soon in Hanoi.

The Holi festival is famous for paint-throwing revellers showering each other with colour, representing a tradition that is both meant to reflect the rainbow of colours associated with springtime and the playfulness of Hindu God Vishnu.

The event is commonly referred to as the festival of love – it celebrates the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

The event, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam, will take place at Kinder Park in Hanoi on March 19 between 11am and 3pm.

Tickets can be purchased at the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam, which is on the seventh floor of the ATS Building on 252 Hoang Quoc Viet Street in Hanoi.

The prices, which include coloured powder, food, drinks and music, are 600,000 VND (27.20 USD) for an adult and 200,000 VND (9.00 USD) for a child.
