Hanoi, June 23 (VNA) – Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung and a delegation from the capital city will pay a visit to the US.
The visit will help expand cooperation between Hanoi and many US states, Chung said on June 22 when meeting US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius to discuss the visit.
At the meeting, Ted Osius affirmed that Chung’s visit will bring Hanoi a huge opportunity to translate some innovative ideas into reality.
Hanoi will get active support from US specialists in developing smart city and other projects in healthcare and education, according to Osius.
Chung thanked Osius for his support, saying he hopes the visit will deepen the friendship between the two sides.
