Ha Giang exhibition on seas, islands, naval soldiers

An exhibition featuring Vietnam’s seas and islands and naval soldiers is taking place in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.

On display are nearly 300 documents, photos, maps and warship mock-ups reflecting outstanding feats of arms of the Vietnam People’s Navy and the progress of building a regular, elite and modern navy.

In addition, Ha Giang introduces at the exhibition many photos and documents highlighting the province’s activities to protect national border, sea and island sovereignty, its people’s sentiments towards people and soldiers on Truong Sa archipelago and other islands nationwide.

The exhibition offers a chance for local Party Committee, authorities and people to understand more about the heroic tradition and feats of arms of the VPN in the past struggle for national liberation and the current nation building and safeguarding, thus helping educate patriotism among locals.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors until August 3.
