Da Nang aims to develop river tourism services

The central coastal city of Da Nang has called for further investment in the city’s river and sea tourism services for the 2019 to 2021 period, with the aim of creating unique tourism products capable of serving visitors.

Da Nang municipal People’s Committee has issued a development plan regarding destinations, tourism products, and services to serve the domestic maritime route in the 2019 to 2021 period.

Da Nang city has already called on businesses to inject money into building additional ships that can serve as accommodation at night in Da Nang’s bay in order to diversify the range of options available for visitors

In recent years, the number of tourists participating in river tours has increased sharply with 350,000 in 2017, more than 550,000 in 2018, whilst the year’s first quarter had over 200,000, an increase of 57 per cent against the same period last year.

People from all walks of life joined together to create a map of Vietnam from 8,100 national flags at Ba To Park in Nghia Lo ward, the central province of Quang Ngai, on August 27, in a bid to mark the 81st anniversary of August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2026) and National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2026).
