Art performance features Vietnamese culture in Russia

Moscow, June, 10 (VNA) – An art performance by Vietnamese artists, featuring the quintessence of Vietnamese culture was held in the Russian city of Volgograd on June 9.

The event, comprising of performances of traditional Vietnamese and Russian melodies and dances was one of the activities of the on-going Vietnamese Culture Days in Russia, running from June 4 to 12.

A similar show was organised in Moscow on June 6.

The events, jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, are is part of the regular cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.

They offered a chance for people of both countries to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s cultural identity and artistic heritage.

Vietnam and Russia have maintained the organisation of Cultural Days with an aim to help further strengthen the comprehensive relationship between the two countries and their people.
