The Essence of Israeli Dance

“The Essence of Israeli Dance” is the name of a program performed by members of the Halleluya Dance Group at Hanoi Opera House in celebration of the 23rd anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Israel.
Halleluya’s dancers offered the Vietnamese audience an attractive Israeli folk dancing program. Barry Avidan, Artistic Director of the troupe, shared that Halleluya’s dancing is a combination of different cultures of Israel. In this program in Vietnam, the group performed a dance in which the dancers wore Vietnamese white Ao dai decorated with Israeli traditional patterns.
