Seven Vietnamese Exports Surpass 10 Billion USD in January-August

In the first eight months of 2026, seven export items recorded turnover exceeding 10 billion USD each, accounting for 70% of Vietnam’s total export value. Electronics, computers and components topped the list, with export turnover surpassing 101 billion USD.

In the first eight months of 2026, total registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in Viet Nam reached 40.63 billion USD, up 55.4% year on year. Disbursed FDI was estimated at 17.25 billion USD, up 12% year on year and the highest eight-month figure in the past five years.
