Minh Long I’s porcelain tiger statue

A collection of porcelain tiger statues has been uniquely designed by the artisans of Minh Long I Co. Ltd, Binh Duong province. With their high artistic values, unique features, and auspicious meanings, porcelain tiger statues are suitable to display and are given to relatives with New Year wishes of Khat vong (Desire), An lac (Peace), and Nhu y (Fulfillment).

Minh Long I porcelain tiger collection has 3 themes. These include, desire, peace, and fulfillment, expressing good wishes through different shapes of tigers. The Tiger Statue of Desire is delicately, vividly and soulfully depicted through the tiger’s glare, fur and a muscular and powerful body. The majestic sitting posture on the stone in the high mountain peaks shows he’s the king of the jungle.

The Peace Statue is stylized with a bold body. Wearing a robe and a necklace around his neck, he leisurely and freely practices meditation. His face is calm and peaceful with half-closed eyes as if he’s relaxing or resting but in fact, he’s regaining energy for a new conquest.

Lastly, the Fulfillment Tiger statue is shaped like a young man with a dream and is full of life. The eyes show that it’s happy and its mouth is smiling brightly and excitedly, symbolizing innocence, freedom, and happiness. The tiger’s left-hand waves to create friendliness while the right-hand holds a wish-fulfilling piece of jade, meaning to give good luck and grant all wishes.

Ly Ngoc Minh, General Director of Minh Long I Co. Ltd., said that Minh Long I's porcelain statue bearing the symbol of the Year of the Tiger also encapsulates another message for everyone. People are urged to spend more time thinking and cultivating their inner strength to have a peaceful and satisfying year.
