Russian market in Ho Chi Minh City

There is a Russian market in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The market sells the iconic wooden roly poly dolls, souvenirs, and warm clothes from Russia, attracting crowds of foreign and domestic customers.

The Russian market on District 1’s Vo Van Kiet street was built in 2000. It covers an area of 2,000 square meters. The three-storey market has 200 booths selling clothes, footwear, bags, and household appliances.

With nearly 200 kiosks, the market welcomes thousands of shoppers each day. Customers that visit the market are from all over the world, not just Vietnam.

After nearly two decades, the market has become a venue for everyone who loves Russian culture and products. It has also become a unique attraction for both foreign and domestic tourists when they visit Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s most bustling city.
