Reference exchange rate up 3 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam on December 22 revised up the daily reference exchange rate to 22,433 VND/USD, up 3 VND from the rate on the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks on the day is 23,096 VND and the floor rate 21,760 VND/USD.

In opening hours, Vietcombank listed the buying-selling rates at 22,675-22,745, both down 5 VND as compared to those on December 21.

Meanwhile, BIDV and Vietinbank kept the buying rate for the US dollar at 22,680 VND and selling rate at 22,750 VND, unchanged from a day earlier.-VNA/VNP
