Quang Minh Mosaic

After years of development, Quang Minh Mosaic has created impressive art spaces all over Vietnam. The talented hands of Quang Minh Mosaic's artisans have made sustainable artworks and helped prove the brand’s success.
Quang Minh Ceramic Joint Stock Company is one of the first enterprises in Vietnam to enter the ceramic mosaic market. Artisan Nguyen Quy Son followed his family tradition and succeeded in building the brand Quang Minh mosaic. After learning the craft from the age of 5, Son became a craftsman creating hundreds of different ceramic products when he was just 24 years old. After reading a book about mosaic art by chance, Son devoted himself wholeheartedly to become a master in this field. Son's first artwork was the “Fish ceramic painting” that caught the eye of artist Thu Thuy when she was working on the project entitled “The Pottery Road along the Red River”. Thuy then signed a contract with Quang Minh Mosaic to construct more than 100m2 along this road.

Quang Minh Mosaic’s artisans not only are skillful but have also mastered the shaping design skills and can flexibly apply the aesthetics of art.

Nguyen Quy Son built a professional method to develop ceramic mosaic paintings as well as train the artisans. To create valuable artwork that leaves an impression on each customer, Son rigorously tests the quality of the product at the last stage so that the product meets the applied standards.

Quang Minh Mosaic’s workshop has been a gathering place for artists around the world to create art.
Quang Minh Mosaic’s artisans not only are skillful but have also mastered the shaping design skills and can flexibly apply the aesthetics of art. The company's ceramic tiles are formed from the clay through the process of shaping and firing in the kiln. After that, the artisan attaches tiles based on the desired image. Baked at a temperature of 1,300 Celsius, the ceramics have a long life expectancy, durability, and stability.

Quang Minh Mosaic has built its name with great artwork such as 11 ceramic trees made up of  2 million ceramic pieces placed at Goldmark City in Hanoi, “Canh Buom” (The sail) artwork at Binh Minh square in Nghe An province, works at Van Lang Ecotourism in Phu Tho province and Angsana Lang Co resort in Hue.

Many architects have cooperated with Quang Minh Mosaic to use mosaic art at key construction sites in Vietnam. These include a mosaic of the national flag which is made up of 310,000 ceramic pieces placed on the roof of the conference hall in Truong Sa Lon island in Khanh Hoa province.
