PM directs preparations for DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit

After the working session with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the preparation for the upcoming DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a working session with the Government Office  in Hanoi on February 24.

PM Phuc said the second summit between the DPRK and the US is a political and diplomatic event of top significance in Vietnam this year. 
 
He urged the office to ensure security and safety and hold cultural and tourism events to improve Vietnam’s image. 
 
On the evening of the same day, the leader inspected preparations at the summit’s international media center at Friendship Cultural Palace for the second time.

He asked for more decorations at international media center. He also urged the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to pay more attention to tourism promotion, saying the summit is a good chance for Vietnam to promote its safety, hospitality and friendliness.
