Hanoi, April 8 (VNA) – The Prime Minister has just approved the investment scheme for a 100 million USD loan for a project to upgrade weak and highway bridges.
The project, funded by the Republic of Korea, aims to build new bridges and upgrade around 60 weak connection bridges on highway systems across the country.
The effort is to ensure a comprehensive national road system, connecting localities and economic zones, reducing transportation costs and traffic jams and contributing to socio-economic development.
The project will be carried out within four years with a domestic corresponding capital worth 638 billion VND (30 million USD).
