The three-day festival featured 36 performances of magicians from 15 State-owned and private art troupes.
It was organised by the Vietnam Theatre Artists Association in cooperation with its partner, the HCM City Department of Culture & Sports.
Addressing the event, head of the judging panel at the festival Vu Ngoan Hop noted this year’s festival recorded more entries than the two previous editions.
The festival offered a chance to review magic performances nationwide, thus encouraging young artists to develop the sector, he added.
