NA Vice Chairman receives Coca-Cola Vietnam CEO

The National Assembly has focused on establishing a complete legal framework to provide a favourable business environment for foreign businesses to invest in Vietnam, including Coca-Cola, NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien said.

Hien hosted a reception for Coca-Cola Vietnam CEO Sanket Ray in Hanoi on December 12.

He hailed the group for having achieved attainments in its operation in Vietnam for more than 20 years as well as its contributions to local social activities.

He spoke highly of the group’s increasing use of raw materials and farm produce of Vietnam in its production.

He asked the group to continue seriously abiding by Vietnam’s laws in performing its obligations to tax payment and environment protection, and engaging in more social activities.

Coca-Cola Vietnam CEO Sanket Ray briefed his host about the group’s investment in Vietnam, saying the group planned to expand its operation by opening two more plants in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 2019 and 2020.

He said Coca-Cola Vietnam will comply with regulations on environmental protection, produce products for the health of local consumers, and continue doing its social responsibility in the host country.
