Michael Owen brings new solo fashion brand to Vietnam

Former British football player Michael Owen has been in Ho Chi Minh City to meet fans and introduce his own fashion brand.

Owen had a meeting with the press, guests, and hundreds of fans on August 13, during which he promoted his fashion brand and designs from his latest collection.

Also, he revealed that he has plans to open football training centres in many countries, and Vietnam will be one of his destinations.

This is the first time Owen has come to Vietnam. The former striker, who had played for Liverpool, Man Utd and Real Madrid, said that he was amazed by the warm welcome he received and how passionate the Vietnamese were about football.

Since retiring from football in 2013, he has become a successful racehorse jockey, breeder, and owner.
