Khoe 2018, a festival that spreads love

Khoe Creative Festival 2018 is not only an event full of fun and creative activities for children but also a place that spreads a message of sharing in the community.
Khoe Creative Festival is a non-profit event organized annually by social enterprise To He and partners to raise funds for public activities.

In 2017, Khoe Festival organizers raised 300 million dong for building libraries and organizing vocational training workshops for ethnic young people in Ngoc Long commune, Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province. All the funds raised from this year’s event will be used for building Ngoc Long primary school.

“Construction of Ngoc Long Primary Boarding School started on November 1. The school will be a learning place and accommodation for more than 200 students. I believe more and more children in Ngoc Long will go to school,” said Le Huyen, head of the team in charge of construction in Ngoc Long.

The two-day event, which was held at Ecopark Urban Area in Hung Yen province, offered more than 20 creative exciting outdoor activities for children, which connected people in a warm atmosphere.

Noteworthy was an auction of artworks created by children to raise funds. As a successful bidder of a painting by talented young artist Ha Dinh Chi, Nguyen Van Hung (Gia Lam, Hanoi) decided to donate the special painting to the organizers for the next auction.

“This is our small gift to the children in Ngoc Long. My family is happy to participate in this meaningful event to spread the love to the students in mountain areas.” Hung said

The Le Dynasty Weapons Collection

The Giang Vo Military School and Le Dynasty Weapons Collection exhibition has recently been opened at the Hanoi Museum. The event, featuring over 200 artifacts and documents, provided an opportunity for both domestic and international visitors to admire the ancient martial arts training ground, the Giang Vo Military School, the first national martial arts academy in the ancient Thang Long citadel, along with a national treasure collection of weapons from the Le Dynasty.
