InnoGenEx & the mission of toxin detection

Since their beginning in the field of molecular biology in 2018, InnoGenEx (International Science and Technology Company) has had 16 product lines successfully researched and transferred to medical and agricultural companies. The company currently owns advanced technology that provides quick detection of toxins in food, health and animal husbandry.
As African swine fever remains a concern in many countries and the search for a vaccine has yet to bear solid results, clean pork is of extreme importance to consumers.

Unfortunately, for a long time, available technology to test this disease was applicable to living animals only. In that regard, InnoGenEx has successfully researched the LAMP technique of isothermal DNA amplification that can be tested on raw pork to detect the fever. For now, InnoGenEx is the only company in Vietnam owning such technology.

The research team of Dr. Le Quang Hoa and Innogenex have successfully developed
the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) rapid test kit based on the RT-LAMP technique.

InnoGenEx has developed products and solutions to quickly detect toxins in food, health and animal husbandry.

The average time for a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test is about 2.5-3 hours, while in comparison the average time for LAMP is about 1-1.5 hours. Results of the LAMP tests can be observed under normal light or UV light and LAMP systems do not require electricity (warm bags or thermostats can be used). For all those reasons, the LAMP method is hailed for its quick detection, mobility and economic efficiency. It provides a solution for disadvantaged regions that lack infrastructure as well as modern technology.

The bio-products of InnoGenEx include, the technology to produce biological products for fast detection of African swine cholera virus based on the LAMP isothermal amplification DNA technique, Dengue test strips and LAMP biological products that detect food-borne pathogens (Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli O157 and Clostridium perfringens). These products all provide quicker detection of toxins in food, health and animal husbandry compared to current testing technology.

Some test kits of InnoGenEx are licensed for circulation in the market.

According to global statistics, each year the flu causes around 500,000 deaths and can cost up to 85 billion US dollars in economic loss. Inefficient methods of flu testing are leading to over-indulgence of antibiotics or unnecessary isolation.

In addition to researching and developing products and solutions to quickly detect toxins in food, health and animal husbandry, InnoGenEx is also developing new technology and providing consulting services to set up laboratories with high quality standards.
