High-ranking military officers to visit Myanmar

Hanoi, September 30 (VNA) – A military delegation of Vietnam led by Minister of National Defence General Ngo Xuan Lich will pay an official visit to Myanmar from October 1-3. 

The visit will be made at the invitation of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Myanmar. 

The visit aims to review the outcomes of defence cooperation between the two nations in the recent past and discuss measures to boost defence ties in the time to come, thereby strengthening the Vietnam-Myanmar comprehensive cooperative partnership.
